Following their first concerts together in August 2020, Semyon Bychkov and the Euskadiko Orkestra will once again perform together, this time in Mahler’s Fourth Symphony this March. Two concerts take place on 5 March in Pamplona-Iruña and one on 6 March as part of Bilbao’s Musika-Música Festival 2021.

A week later, Bychkov travels to Berlin to work with the Berliner Philharmoniker in Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto in D with Lisa Batiashvili and Dvořák’s Seventh Symphony. Their concert on 11 March will be streamed live at 7pm CET via the Berlin Phil’s Digital Concert Hall.

Finally on 25 March, Semyon Bychkov will return to Prague to conduct the second of the Czech Philharmonic’s spring live-streamed concerts from 8.15pm CET via the Orchestra’s Facebook & YouTube pages. The programme will include Bruch’s Violin Concerto with Nikolaj Szeps-Znaider, Beethoven’s Coriolanus Overture and his Symphony No. 3 Eroica. The concert will raise money for medical professionals in their ongoing fight aganist the coronavirus pandemic in the Czech Republic.
