February 2020 sees Maestro Bychkov return to Vienna for performances of Strauss’s Elektra at the Wiener Staatsoper. He is joined by Christne Goerke once again who took up the title role under Bychkov at the 2014 BBC Proms and 2011 production at Madrid’s Teatro Real. Waltraud Meier sings Clytemnestra and Michael Volle is Oreste.
